Terms of Use

outrepd · Last updated 14 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and MK Labs, who runs the outrepd app ("outrepd", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using outrepd, you agree to them. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use outrepd

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity on your account, so keep the email account you sign in with secure. One person, one account.

2. Exercise safely

outrepd is a game built on real exercise, and a timed duel can push you harder than you would push yourself. Stop straight away if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath. If you have a medical condition or an injury, are pregnant, or have not exercised in a while, check with a doctor before you start. outrepd does not give medical advice, and you take part at your own risk.

The rep counter is good but not perfect, and a count or a result can be wrong. In practice you can correct your own count; in a match, the camera's count is the one that plays, so both sides are held to the same counter.

3. No tolerance for objectionable content or abuse

outrepd has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not:

  • use a username or profile photo that is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive;
  • impersonate anyone, or use someone else's name, photo or trademark without permission;
  • harass, threaten, bully or abuse other players, including through challenges or reports;
  • post anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.

You can report a player from their profile, or block them, after which the two of you are no longer matched, cannot find each other in search, and cannot send each other friend requests or challenges. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours, by removing the content and, where it is warranted, suspending or deleting the account of the person who posted it. You can also email reports to support@outrepd.com.

4. Play fair

A duel only means something if both sets are real. You must not trick the rep counter, alter what the app sends, use any tool or script to fake or automate a set, use more than one account to move your own rank or anyone else's, or try to reach accounts, data or parts of the service that are not yours. We may reset results or ranks, and suspend or delete accounts, that break these rules.

4a. How matches work

Ranked. Find a match first looks for somebody near your level who is searching live at the same moment. If nobody is found within 15 seconds, you race a set another player recorded earlier instead, for the same rank points. Ranked results move your rank; the rank points a match pays follow the rep gap, as the app shows before you start.

Live with a friend. You can invite any of your friends to a live match. They get a notification and have one minute to join. Matches with friends are friendly and do not move either rank or record on the ladder.

Both on camera. In a live match, each phone counts its own lifter and the round starts at the same moment on both. The count your camera scores is the count that plays.

If a connection drops during a live round, the round carries on to the end of the clock, and the player whose phone dropped is scored on the last count the server received from it.

Giving up mid-round is a loss, whatever the count was when you left.

A match that never starts — because one player did not get into position in time — is called off, and nothing is recorded.

5. Your content

Your username, photo and sets remain yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to other people in outrepd, on leaderboards and on your share card, for as long as your account exists. You are responsible for what you upload.

6. The service

outrepd has no ads. We may change, add or remove features, reset the ladder, or stop offering outrepd. We do not promise the app will always be available or free of errors, or that any rank or result will be kept.

6a. Subscription

Using outrepd needs a subscription, weekly or yearly. The price and period are shown before you buy, in your currency, and you pay through Google Play or the App Store under their terms.

It renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same length and at the then-current price, until you cancel. Your store account is charged within 24 hours before each renewal.

You can cancel at any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting your outrepd account or the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their own policies, not by us.

Price changes are announced by the store before they apply, and you can cancel before they do.

If you reinstall outrepd or use a new phone, use Restore on the subscription screen to get your subscription back.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using outrepd at any time and delete your account in Settings → Data → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections 2, 8 and 10 still apply after your account ends.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, outrepd is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and MK Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for injury resulting from exercise. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

9. App stores

If you downloaded outrepd from Apple's App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and MK Labs only, not Apple or Google, and MK Labs, not Apple or Google, is responsible for outrepd and its content, maintenance, support, and any claims about it, including product liability, legal compliance and intellectual property claims. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support. You may use outrepd only on devices you own or control, as the store's own terms allow. You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or listed on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

For downloads from the App Store: to the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no warranty obligation for outrepd, and if outrepd fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

11. Changes

If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If you keep using outrepd after that, you accept the new terms.
